About This Special Issue
The toxic dyes are released by many industries viz., food, textile, etc. The toxic dyes are difficult to manage and use of chemicals for this purpose is costly and not eco-friendly. Biological approach means use of microorganisms for the degradation of toxic dyes. The use of microorganisms i.e., bacteria, fungi, actinomycetes, etc. will be very eco-friendly and economical and easy. This will also have sustainable approach. Hence, this special issue will focus on this area and help to find solution for the degradation of toxic dyes. So, the issue will cover topics related to toxic dyes and their degradation, role of microorganisms in degradation of toxic dyes, mechanisms used by microorganisms for degradation of toxic dyes, etc. which will be the main objectives. The special issue will be useful for the students of Microbiology, Environmental Sciences, researchers and scientists.
The primary goal of this special issue is to have solution for the degradation of toxic dyes. We invite contributions that explore environmental science, with particular interest in biological approach.
Through this special issue, we aim to focus on the management and degradation of toxic dyes used in various industries. We welcome researchers from various disciplines to provide interdisciplinary perspectives on degradation of toxic dyes. Your contributions will play a crucial role in advancing knowledge in this field.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Degradation of toxic dyes by microorganisms
